RACE CREW PROGRAM INVITATION - DEVIL'S GLEN COUNTRY CLUB
What is the Race Crew?
It is a program that involves staging a series of ski races from Nancy Greene to F.I.S. level at Devil’s Glen Country Club. The ski season runs from the beginning of January through the middle of March. Each participant would be part of a team that assists with ski races and fits into a full time or part time rotation. The individual races run for either the morning or possibly a full day depending on the level of race.
What background in ski racing is required?
None is required however you must be able to ski or snowboard at a minimum intermediate level. Individuals will be given appropriate instruction on their duties prior to commitment. Essentially you are able to “learn on the spot” and gain knowledge through experience and technical updates during the season. All race crew must either take a Level 1 Officials course or be a current Official through updates or upgrading their level.
Type of individual?
We are looking for a person who enjoys outdoor winter activities in a social, fun-filled environment and would like to meet friendly people with similar personal values. It is a great way to spend time with friends (fellow race crew members) and meet other club members.
What are the benefits?
A ski badge is provided to use the Club when not working, to access and enjoy the Club throughout the season including snowboarding, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and snow shoe trails, snowboarding and ski instruction as well as the lodge with food and beverage services.
