How does the process work? The person organizing the event for each group contacts Donna van Brussel at Squire John’s office (705-445-4606 or rentals@squirejohns.com). Donna will open the online booking system for that group. This should be done as soon as your event is booked so the online site is properly set up for your group and ready when your invitations go out. A credit card is required if you are paying or guaranteeing as a group. Equipment reservations are required to ensure equipment availability. It is recommended that the online booking site address ( https://secure.runningtide.com/SquireJohns/) be included in the invitation as well as any equipment rental costs if participants are paying for their own equipment as costs are not on the website. Participants book all rentals through our online booking website. Squire John's is not set up to handle the volume of calls registering by phone would generate and the rental desk is not always staffed. Equipment reservations are required to ensure equipment availability. Reservations are cut off and the online site locked three business days before an event. Those without internet access will need to call Donna van Brussel (705-445-4606) to arrange rentals. Payment for group rentals must be made on the day of your event in the Squire John’s store at the club. Cash, cheque, credit card or debit card may be used for payment. Please pick up your receipt at the rental shap the day of your event. Any additional people accompanying your group that have not reserved, must wait until all of the reserved groups have been serviced, and there is no guarantee that we will have equipment available so make sure that all people that are participating have reserved equipment early. Cancellation Policy To help us serve all guests better, cancellations require 48 hours notice. Cancellations for groups of 10 or more require 72 hours notice and are subject to a 50% booking fee. Individual cnacellations can be deleted by the group coordinator or participant on the website until the site locks. Cancellations after that time may be made by contacting Donna van Brussel (705-445-4606). Cancellations must be confirmed - leaving a voice message is NOT considered confirmed. Please cancel as soon as you know you will not be requiring equipment as last minute cancellations cannot always be confirmed. 10:00am the business day before and event is the absolute last possible time to cancel (if Donna is available). Participants who don't cancel will be charged the full cost of the rental. How to Contact Us |
