Race eBulletin Issue 8 Volume 7

The winning team from last Sunday’s Race #3 was Team 1 (Miller Time), see below for team standings and see attachment for Best Times. After being slaughtered, due to poor attendance in Race #1, Peter has fought back with better attendance, and his team currently sits in second overall spot. Team 4 (Spencer(s)) are resting on the laurels of one strong race in our first week of competition, and are now only one point ahead of Team 1 (Miller Time).

Paula Owen and Chris Blackwell were the fastest female and male racers in Race #3 versus their Race #2 times - and walk away with the Most Improved Awards for Race #3. We will have a special gift/award for both Chris (who had new skis for Race #3) and Paula – probably delivered at the starting gate of our next race (Race #4).

Full results for Race #3 and team standings after the first three races will be posted on the Racing Bulletin Board (in the basement), as of this Saturday morning.

Our next race, Race #4, will be Saturday February 12 at 1:30 pm (probably Paradise). DUAL SLALOM! There will be a social/awards after the race – as it is a Saturday!

We think we will be able to start our last race of the season (Race #5 on Sunday Feb 27) at 12:45 instead of 1:30 pm. This will allow us to have a brief season ending awards ceremony upstairs at approximately 2:45 pm. Our plan is to hand out winning team awards, MVP (most points) for female and male, plus fastest overall women and men.
