Saturday, January 9, 2010 - Julia Roth won GMC Cup GS

Roth, 16, clocked a two-run time of two minutes and 19.74 seconds in ideal winter conditions. Rebecca Nadler of Ottawa was second in 2:20.17 and Emily Goad of Avra, Ont., third in 2:21.70. Nadler and Goad also reached the podium in Friday’s GS.

“My season has been awesome so far,” said Roth, in her second year with the Ontario provincial team. “My goal today was to have a clean second run and finish. The conditions were great today the snow is so awesome. I was able to stay in and finish. I am really excited.”
